International Operations Manager
Greg is an accomplished professional who has been working in the security and logistics industry for the past sixteen years in the high conflict zones of the Middle East and Africa. In the past, he worked for Olive Group, GardaWorld, and Chevron as a security specialist focusing on personnel and asset protection. Today, Greg serves as GMSS’ International Operations Manager focusing on full spectrum logistics solutions including life and mission support in the most challenging and austere environments. Greg received a diploma in security management from Stonebridge College UK and recently wrote the Occupational Health & Safety International General Certificate through NEBOSH UK, Greg completed 11 years’ service in the South African National Defense Force.
International Business Development Manager
Jorge has over thirteen years of administrative logistics and procurement experience as well as business development practice through his involvement in international commercial companies. Jorge has extensive knowledge on aviation maintenance (with an expertise for Rotary Wing Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) on UH-1H, UH-1H2, UH-60, Bell 412, MI-17), warehouse management, cargo and freight forwarding logistics and US government property management. Jorge performed as an aviation logistics lead for DynCorp and holds over Seven years of experience in Air military operations in hostile and non-hostile environments, while stationed mainly in the Middle East and South East Asia. Through his operational experience, Jorge has gained much knowledge in all relevant US regulations from the aviation, trade and security world.
As the research Lead, Lala works on business development department in research and identifying relevant opportunities, she contributes to the company’s growth strategy and marketing efforts. Lala has over eight years of experience in research and business development responsibilities. Prior to joining GMSS, Lala worked as a consultant for the World Bank in Washington DC and a private international consultancy company in Baku, Azerbaijan where she worked on the project supporting the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense. Lala speaks English, Russian, Azerbaijani and Turkish and holds MA in Management from Durham University Business School in Durham, UK.
Scott serves as GMSS’ US Counsel for the past four years. Scott is the founding member of Williamson Law Group LLC, a law firm specializing in US government procurement matters including all aspects of government contracts, compliance and intellectual property protection. He previously held senior counsel and capture manager positions with leading defense contractors, including Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems and Bechtel National, Defense & Space. His experience also includes over 20 years as a government attorney and space research engineer for the US Air Force. He is a US Air Force (Ret.) Scott has experience across a wide cross-section of US agencies, including all DoD branches, DOS, NASA, DOE, DHS, FAA, USPS, and DOI. He has extensive experience with all funding vehicles, including contracts, cooperative agreements, grants, and OTAs.
